1. AFL Coaching - shortball drills

   1.1  Standing Kick
Ages   Senior, U/16, U/14, U/12, U/10, U/8.

About
For coaching AFL footballers aged U/8 to senior, you will need groups of 3 players, 2 cones and 1 football per group. The length of this drill is 10 metres for seniors, when coaching juniors you should shorten this drill to a more appropriate length. This is a kicking drill to practice short kicking. Use this exercise early in the training session, or perhaps in between longer exercises for recovery.
