For coaching AFL footballers aged U/10 to senior, you will need 8 players, 4 cones and 1 football. The length of this drill is 15 metres for seniors, when coaching juniors you should shorten this drill to a more appropriate length. This is a handball exercise to practice mid-length handballing and short kicking. Use this exercise early in the training session, or perhaps in between longer exercises for recovery.
