Rolling Ball, Rising Handball

Skills
Crumb.
Purpose
A crumbing player with their head over the ball must often dispose of it immediately as they will be hot. This drill teaches players to pick up an erratically bouncing ball, to get front and square of a crumber using a loud voice to guide them, and to handball on-the-up to a voice.

    (A) rolls the ball out in front of (B)
    The person rolling the ball should make the ball bounce oddly to make it difficult to pick up

    (B) gathers and handball on-the-up to (C)
    (C) must be front and square and call with a loud voice

    (C) rolls the ball out in front of (D)

  • Step 4

    (D) gathers and handball on-the-up to (A)
